Default Best Shock

I know everyone here loves the Koni Yellows and the Kyb AGX.
Those are adjustables... My question to you guys is what is the best non-adjustable shock to be mated with some neuspeed race springs? I have no use for the adjustability. TIA.

non adjustable struts wont hold up wellwith race springs. just go with AGX's those are the best bang for the buck. most non-adjustable struts are only warranted from stock to 1.5 drop' height. the ride quality wont be that great and you'll blow the strut really quick.

im pushin it w/ a sports drop on my tokico blues, but its been alright for a year now and the rides not all that bad for what i paid. i got a mad deal on my springs and struts. i bought my entire drop/suspension setup for like $325 (bought everything from various places/people) which was new neuspeed sport springs, (1month old) tokico blues, ingalls style front camber kit, homemade rear bolt and washer camber kit, and no name front upper strut bar.

The shocks that I would recommend for the Neu Race Springs are the new Koni/Neuspeed Yellows, they are designed by Neuspeed and made by koni, I am running Neuspeed race springs with Neu/Koni yellows they are the smothest ride that I have felt in a long time.

I know ur dead set against adjustables, but hear me out. I recently got AGX as you know, im on Neuspeed sports, as you know, and I had my AGX set to the most popular setting, 2 up front, 4 out back. It was a very noticeable difference in ride quality and performance from the stock shocks, but it was a bit too stiff for me. Now had I gone with the some non-adjustables, I would have been stuck with that until I was able to afford different suspension. Instead, I rode it out for a week to see if it would soften up but it didn't so I adjusted them to 1/2, alot closer to stock ride quality, still stiffer than stock but more comfortable than the original setting.

Cliff Notes: Get AGX, even if you think you won't need the adjustability, you will at least have the option to change the settings should you ever feel the need. They are only $340 shipped, and with Race springs, I think you'd definitely want to be able to soften it up a bit.

I matched my Neuspeed race with the Tockico blues. Senseable at the time cause I didnt have enough $$ to get the Illuminas or the AGX. Its a little stiff but way better that the stock struts.02

Neuspeed Race springs are too stiff and low for most non adjustables. With the race springs, it is best to mate them with some sport shocks that are able to handle the higher spring rate and shorter stance.
