Default Need help I have a Question?

I want to install a CAI in my 2001 i4 LX, what I want to know is do you have to remove the intake resinator to install the COLD AIR INTAKE? Also on my 6 gen do you have to take off the bumper to take out the resinator?

Your intake resonator is in you front right bumper area. There is two bolts that connect the resonator to your car. You'll need an extension and you'll have to pull back the fender lining and the black plastic lining under the resonator. I would first take of your stock air box and the upside down J tube inside first.

Jacking up your car in front will help

No you don't. Just jack up the front of the car and turn your wheel to the right. The resonator is right under your stock air box. Pop a few clips, pull back the black plastic in your fender and under the resonator to access it. Unbolt two bolts and pull down the resonator.
