I have 1 1995 Accord. I have the opportunity to purchase a low mileage engine from a 1998. Will the 98 engine fit? Does it matter if the trnasmission types are different?

 

Does your 95 have the f22 in it? What engine does the 98 have, the h22 possibly? Im not too familiar with manual/automatic conversions but if they're both 5 spds the two will swap fine. if you are upgrading from the f series to the h series, i believe you can keep the f series tranny, but i wouldnt recommed it. i doubt that it would last very long. The 95-98s are a little vauge to me, the intro of the 6 cly and f 23's. Do you have any more info on what engines your looking to swap?
