i have a 90 accord lx....i'm getting a guy to put a jdmh22a in it in about 3 weeks.....now my question....my charging system is stock (read as WEAK) and i wanna see if there is a higher amp alternator that will go on or whatever....if i could do it now, then great, but i dont wanna waste any money on anything that won't fit the h22a too.....are there any alternator "swaps" or anyone who offers stronger ones, and will either bolt up to the h...

 

hm..........good question, never thought of this, shouldn't it come with it? if not, just buy an Alternator FOR a Lude. 93-96 is the same. I THINK. You're getting JDM or USDM ???? SHOULDN"T be any diff. Then again, double check with your mechanic to make sure. Or call the Seller of your Motor and ask for the Engine number, then call the part store asking for the Matching Alternator.

 

actually what i meant was if there was an alternator i could buy NOW that would also fit on the h22a when i get the swap in 2-3 weeks.....it's a moot point, cuz i've decided to just get rid of the system and simplify things....just get some good speakers for the doors and back deck and get used to it....
