Default Fuel filter

I was getting my oil changed the other day and the techs said I might need a new fuel filter. I know my car is in need of a tune up and valve adjustment, but will a new fuel filter help? Are there any on the market now? who makes them?

:werd: just buying a fuel filter shouldn't be this much trouble. btw, a Fuel Filter will not make a noticeable difference at all.
