205 55 15 = 112.75(sidewall height, which is what determines how tall your tire is and how close your speedo will be......if the stock size is 195 60 15 = 117, then your gonna be about 4.25mm shorter than stock with the 205/55/15's on it......it will be off but maybe only 3-5mph.....if you are doing 60mph, it might read 65 or so.....i wouldnt worry about that.....no big deal.....

actually 195 60 15 has a diamter of 24.1 and 205 55 15 is 23.8, so that is very small. i actually drove by one of these speed things the cops set-up and it seemed to be dead on accurate with my 205 55 15s.

it will be almost 1mph off. This may not sound like much, but will make a difference over time. Just something to think about.

what generation accord are we even talking about here?

5th gen stock size is 195/60/15 for EX 185/60/15 for LX

in either case 205/55/15 is acceptable

for 17's best size is 215/45/17...205/45/17 is ok
40 profiles are too small.

the only downfall is that you will accumulate mileage quicker. a 205 55 15 will go about 20 more revs per mile than a 195 60 15, which will make the odometer think you are traveling more miles.

your speedo is off anyway, +-3 mph even with stock tires. get the 205 55 15s and don't worry about, like i said mine became more accurate.

yes 94-95 lx came with 14s and in 96 they had them come in 15s. which is why 215 45 17 is better for 96-97 lx,se and all the rest should use 205 45 17s.
