Default is this dangerous?

i got into an accident awhile back and to make things short, the black rubber piece between my fender and wheel got tore up and so i have an exposed aem cai. is this dangerous? am i sucking in little drops of water? im planning on getting the blackwidow kit put on soon and i dont see how i can attach the fenderwell guard to the kit anyway, so should i just get a short ram?

I have the same problem except I still have mine on I just duckted taped to to the bumper until I get it ordered. Your AEM CAI is fine as long as you dont go through big puddles. The rubber wheel well thing attachs to the bumper, not the bumper cover. So if you get the Black widow kit, it wont be conneting to the bumper cover just the actual metal bumper behind it...

you need to get a new fender lining, they are like 40 dollars, if you dont rocks, mud, water, and other **** are going to fly up in there and powssibly cause damage to exposed wires or other parts that are now exposed. I'm not saying you cant roll without your fenderlining, im just saying its not a good idea

it's a bad idea. the fender lining is the only thing that protects the air filter from water rocks and mud. i'd get that fixed asap

yeah, somehow mine got ripped off on the highway one day, only on the right side though. it looks exactly like yours aux. i have a AEM CAI and it hasn't been a problem. im going to get a new fenderlining sometime soon when the weather gets better, but for now, its fine. oh yeah, about the hydrolocking and the Black Widow kit.......you will only hydrolock your motor if your filter stays submerged in water for several seconds.... and with the BW kit, you have absolutely nothing infront of the filter. you will be able to see the filter from the front of your car through the holes in the kit. thats how it is on my friends prelude, he has the BW kit. he hasn't had any problems with it, but whenever we are driving in the rain, im always nervous as hell b/c i dont want to be pushing his car somewhere if he hydrolocks it. but i'll quit talkin now. hope that helps you some.

Same thing happened to me. I hit a big bump, next thing I know my car is pulling really hard to the right, I smell plastic burning (from rubbing against the wheel), and the liner hanging off the car under the drivers door. grabbed a knife and cut the thing off.
