My 94 has 159k on it. I purchased it with 99k 3 years ago. Does anyone else in here with a high mileage accord get bad gas mileage? I can only go about 250 miles on a full tank. Is that normal?

 

Have 76,000 on my Prelude (purchased Dec. 20, 1999)

 

My old 86 Prelude Si=230,000
My old old 85 Accord hatch 250,000 before I blew the head gasket.
My 98 Accord purchased at 51,000 has 72,000 11 months later.
My friend's 87 Accord Lxi 325,000

Knew one guy with a 89 CRX with 450,000

 

2000 accord w/ 10200 miles n counting

 

I know this is for accords but... My 92 Civic VX has 424,550 miles on it. Original engine, 2nd transmission and 2nd clutch. I've replaced a lot of other stuff on it in the 10 years I've owned it. Body is getting rougher but I'm still getting 37mpg so I'll keep it alive.

P.S. there are a lot of "highway" miles but 3/4 of those miles are Pizza Driving miles. I can't think of a harder way to drive a car other than racing.

 

94 EX 4cyl would be the winner I guess. 292K and still running good.

my 94 accord has 140.000. my wife had an 89 civic that had just over 250,000 when we sold it

 

450k+ miles wow!!

mine's a 1990 (accord) and has 215k miles on it

 

my 2002 accord coupe had about 37k when i bought it in april and now it has about 42k. it will probably have more soon since ill be driving on the intersate several times in the coming months.
