Default Blackhousing DIY?

I did an HID retrofit of my headlights a couple months ago and I'm super pleased with the results, almost like driving a new Bimmer or Acura, but there was a little problem. When I look at the cutoff line from the projectors, there is a little glare from the chrome housing inside of the headlight lens that reflects a little poorly onto whatever the light shines onto, the line isn't completely straight. Now, if I could paint the chrome housing inside the lens it might eliminate the problem, but thing is I don't really know how to start. Does that chrome part inside of the headlight lens come apart somehow so I can separate it and paint it separately?

For my retrofit, I used Acura TSX projectors and covered them with E46R bezels that you can score on ebay with Hella Gen 3 replica ballasts and 4300K Philips bulbs.

If anyone has any suggestions and if you want to see pics, please let me know. Thanks for the attention
