Please utilize the search button in the future :fawk:

Honda is giving anywhere from 1-3 6 speeds to most dealers in the first quarter. Most dealers will probably get about 10-15 for the year.

I've heard that as well, but I'm not absolutely sure I believe it. It is possible, but I highly doubt it. Honda knows the car is gonna be popular, so I don't really understand why they would give each dealer 1-3, just doesn't make sense. The same hype was going when the 99 Si came out. I went to the dealer and they said "oh they are gonna be hard to come by"......two weeks later about 7 of them were sitting on the lot and more came in every few weeks. I guess we'll wait and see, if they do only get 1-3 in, they will certainly be taxing on them pretty high! lol

I wonder how much more than 25,900 the 6speeds will be for the first batch of cars?

I talked one dealer yesterday, and he said that they need to find out what the market value will be, and then they will price it. He said it might be a couple of thousand over. so it could very well easily reach $30,000. But I hope it doesn't because I am really hunting for this car.

I personally agree with. The only reason i wanted to get the accord is because it would be under 30K. There is no way i am paying over that for Honda.

You can get a '03 CL-S six speed (w/o nav) for $28k now with the $1k rebate Acura is offering. I'd have to drive the Accord to see if it's better.
