Frickin Windshield Wipers!
Ok...I've had about enough of my wipers
...I don't know what I'm doing wrong...but they skip and sound hella annoying ...Can anyone give me some advice or tips on how to get the wipers to work normally again? Is it because the spring that applies pressure to the windshield is wearing down? Anyone else ever have this problem? Am I buying the wrong type of wiper blades?
ANY SUGGESTIONS OR SOLUTIONS WOULD BE GREAT!

If they skip and chatter along the windshield, and your blades are new, chances are you need new wiper arms. The tension does wear out. I had to replace them on my old '90 Accord. They weren't too expensive, the local Advance Auto Parts ordered them for me.
Thanks for the input. The last time I replaced the wipers was December...it was fine for a while...then started skipping and chattering. Not sure why. Is there a way to tell for sure if I need new wiper arms?

Hmm...all seems like good ideas...I've actually tried Rain X before...the stuff is AMAZING. Didn't know it makes wipers less effective. Anyhow...I'll re-torque them down. One quick question...could my skip/chattering be due to worn wiper blades? Or do worn wiper blades just make crappy streaky wipes?
