AT trany clunks when it's cold?
my 94 accord EX AT tranny always give me big clunk when i shift from P to D4 in the morning or afternoon when i'm off from work. basically it clunks big time when i move the shift gear to D4 when the ride hasn't warmed up yet...
however, it wasn't like that though.... it used to just adjust the rpm to lower level and started to change the gear to D4 automatically but now days, it just keeps up at the high RPM(when the car hasn't warmed up yet) and changes the gear and the tranny clunks....
what would be the problem? try to change the tranny oil?

Mine does it all the time as long as I have the E-brake on. So when I take the ebrake off and put the car in D3 or D4 thats when it happens.

My 98 EX I4 auto clunks everytime I leave my driveway no matter if I put the parking brake on before or after I put the car in park. It sucks. I also had the tranny replaced under 2,000 miles ago at 79,000 miles....
