Default Sticking EGR valve

1994 Accord ex 193K. I cleaned the valve 4k ago. I noticed
that the valve is sticking again.
I cleaned out the egr with carb cleaner.
What are the causes a valve to have this particular problem. After only 4K.
Thank you for your advice.

Is this what we'd use to clean out the EGR?

Go to the dealer and get the EGR gasket kit ... then look at your manifold, there you will find the the passage the exhaust takes into your intake ... figure out the hardware and take it apart. BE DANG CAREFUL, not to let the carbon chunnks to go into the cylinders (assuming you take the injectors out like most apps) ... I used a scribe and a drill bit (minus the drill) to manually clean out the port holes, and sucked the carbon away with a shop vac.
