Default How much is Boost...

Hey...I am doing a project. I need to know how much 1 bar is equal to a certain amount of boost? I was told 7-8 pounds equals 1 bar...Not sure..thanks..

no, it's more like 14 point something.....lemme see if I can look it up..... My physics book doesn't list a conversion for 1 bar pressure, but I think 1 bar = atmospheric pressure. so that's 14.7

Thanks...So it would be 14.7 pounds of boost here? Sorry, im really confused.

actually 1 atmosphere = 14.6956 psi = 760 torr(mm Hg) = 101,325 pascals

1 bar = 750.062 torr(mm Hg) = 0.9869 atm = 100,000 Pascals = 14.5030 psi

1 pascal = a force of 1 Newton meter^2.
1 Newton = the force required to accelerate 1 kilogram one meter per second per second = 1 kg/(m^2)
