Help! I've never had a problem with my 2002 accord coupe...but the other nite it acted up, the TCS light wouldnt turn off (I never turned it on) and the "check engine" light came on, and I noticed that it was shifting oddly (its automatic) and rev-ving itself.

Any ideas??

 

seems like a malfulction with the tcs. the tcs is always "on". the tcs button is to switch if off for use in the snow.

take your car to the dealer to have it checked out. it should be free since you're sill under warranty

Thanks! So continuing to drive it won't harm it? I just need to be able to drive home and to the dealership. It's calmed since it first happened, and now only the check engine light stays on....

 

its fine to drive around for now.... just make sure there arent any leaking fluids or anything and that the temperature stays below the half-way point. the check engine light (cel) means the car's computer recorded some kind of fault in the engine.
