Default that DAMNED *SRS Light*

I did a search at Honda Society and saw the whole ECU resetting possible solution. Well, I don't think that worked.

So I guess I'm gonna have to order that $3 connector from hparts to service the system and have it turned off.

I'm pretty sure I know how I did it, too. The light came on after I installed my alarm. Because an alarm install requires you to work around the steering column, I took the books advice and disabled the SRS system. I was tugging on all kinds of lines up in there and didn't want to accidently deploy a $300 problem.

But ever since that day in late August, I've had my SRS light on.

From what I was reading, the light comes on whenever you turn the car on without having everything in place. Like I drove the car a couple of days without having the install complete. So my SRS system was still disabled (had the yellow plugs unplugged). So being that I turned on the car without the plugs connected, I probably triggered the infamous SRS light.

Now I do have another question about this whole ECU resetting issue. Isn't there a second ECU fuse in the driver's kick panel? It's a 15A that is also used for the Cruise Control. So if you're trying to do the whole "pull the ECU fuse" trick to reset the engine, shouldn't you pull both of those?

And what about the SRS fuse in the driver kick panel? Why not pull it at the same time, then connect it back before/after connecting the ECU fuse(s)?

Just a thought. I'm gonna try all these tonight. I know I'll probably have to shell out the $9 and order the connector from www.hparts.com. But I just wanna get this damn light fixed tonight since I think I already got the *CEL* removed from my instrument panel.
