Default Trying to buy Rims

I am trying to by some 18" for my 93 Accord and I was told that I have to put 215/35/18 on my car. I wanted to know if my tires will rub if I put 225/40/18 or 215/40/18s on there instead? I was told 35s are to skinny. Someone let me know something soon.

35's are skinny, I have em on my 18's, but my car isn't dropped much (it's on pro-kits).

I think 215-45-18 would be a nice setup for you to go with..

I dont know what kind of accords these guys are driving, but on a 4th gen, 90-93 215/35 225/35 and 215/40 are the only sizes you have to choose from. If you have a drop or are planning to drop, 225's will probably rub and so will the 40's unless you stick with a moderate drop like 1.5" or something. I plan on doing the samething for my 93, and if you want 18's just suck it up and roll on 35's just be careful and if you need it, get a camber kit.

Uh, the "35" in the size is how tall the sidewall is, not how wide or skinny it is. That being true, a 215 is skinnier than the 225, since that is the actual width of the tire.
