Default Accord wagon – was there a 5-speed?

Subject says it all – did the Accord wagon ever come in a 5-speed?

(Yes, I searched, yes I could go to www.edmunds.com and look it up, but I figured I could get a quick answer from here.)

I asked before about fifth gen wagons and appearantly only the LX's were available the 5-speeds but they were somewhat rare. I have seen 4th gen's with 5-speeds so they were available then too.

Excuse my Accord ignorance (I've got a Civic), but I noticed the LX has less HP than the EX, but they're both 2.2 liters. Are these the same engines but with different ECUs or are there two totally different engines? Also, is it possible to take the manual tranny from a sedan and put it on an EX wagon?

An H22 would be mighty nice, too!

I don't know a lot about the 5th gen accords...but I thought it was beause the EX had a better header design, possibly other things, I'm not sure.

EX had VTEC y0, LX did not...plus EX had a better flow for exhaust.
