Default Coil overs

I have a 93 accord with skunk2 coilovers and the way I have it lowered now, I'm sitting on my bumpstops which is making my ride very bouncy. I was thinking of just removing the bumpstop totally. Has anyone ever tried this or can anyone give me any ideas on what some negative effects may be. I'd appreciate it. Thanx

IMO, your TOO LOW. On the 4th gens a 1.75-2 in drop is nice but slamming them looks RICEY and cheap.

To answer your question. No I haven't removed the bumpstops so I couldn't tell you how it would work or not. Good luck.

your supposted to remove the bump stops.
I did and my ride isn't bumpy at all really. BTW i have a 3.8" drop, so just imagine.

I used a bovie (surgical tool) to cut through the bumpstop until it came off. you can use a knife of razor blade or something also.

How does too low look cheap... I personally don't like how it looks but if thats what you like then hey why not... as long as you don't drive hard or care about comfort.

Nah, I dont drive hard, and I still have like a 1.5 finger gap all around so its not slammed. But I looked at my rear shox the other day after reading that if your bumpstop is sitting on your strut it makes the ride really harsh, and my back end is always bouncing the hardest over bumps. So I thought I would ask if anyone had any experience with this before I tear it apart this weekend.
