Default 9006 base adaptor ring for hid bulbs

Where can i get adaptor rings for hid bulbs? I got these bulbs but they dont fit the original 9006 base headlights... Or is there any way i can affix them to the headlights?
Thanks.

oh man ... i think you'll need some gator clips or something along those lines to keep the bulbs in place. where did you get this kit? from another car? new online?

if the hid bulbs don't fit perfectly in your housings, it'll be next to impossible to aim properly. also, if it isn't completely sealed, moisture could get in the housing and blow your bulbs when you use them next.

adapter rings won't work properly with the 9006 setup because in order for the arc bubble of the HID bulb to be in the correct position (in comparison to the halogen bulb in the housing), you have to actually cut away from the HID base.

new bulbs? not a necessity.

but save you a lot of pain-and-hassle? yeah, much easier to pick up a pair of 9006-based bulbs. just make sure you order it right (between the 2-wire system, or the p32d base)

So is there any other way you can suggest me doing instead of getting new bulbs? any way to mount them to the headlights without the use of adhesive tape?

taken from Pinky-and-the-Brain:

"If I could reach you, I'd hurt you."

sure. find yourself a dremel and start ghettoing your d2 bulb and then also drill the fugh out of the 9006 bulb and use a LOT of superglue and you can get your half-@$$ed HID that way.

so by the time you finally ruined a pair of good 9006 bulbs and a pair of good d2 bulbs, then you realize it still sucks. then run out and pay more money to buy 9006-based HID bulbs.

unless you have the equipments and the know-how, it REALLY is a lot easier, cost-effective (time wise) to just get a pair of new bulbs. no one's telling you to get a new kit.

USC, I'm thinking about stuffing a HID kit in my ecode lights. For obvious reasons of light output...I'm gonna go with a 4300k or 4100k whichever it was. Which kit would you recommend, and where would I get it from? What are you running in your car, and how much did it cost you?
