Default Help Finding *Bright* White Interior Lights

Jesus.

I ordered some wedge bulbs and a dome light from www.superbrightleds.com.

Lights are perfectly white---but theyre not BRIGHT, at all!!

I mean the stock yellow interior lights were MUCH brighter. I dont want to dish out a ton of money though. No more than $20-30 for all 7 wedge bulbs and the single dome light.

I bought ONE hyper white bulb from Pep Boys for like $1 and it was 1000x brighter than the 'LED's from that site.

Help guys!

This is why you don't change to aftermarket interior bulbs. I think they're :ghey:

Oh well. You learned a lesson. :slap:

Just replace it with a stock OEM light.

Stock is the brightest. Only exception maybe the Raybrig bulbs. Same wattage but twice the brightness. Or so they claim. Maybe its due to the gas mixture in the bulb. I haven't tried it because they are $10 per bulb.:fawk:

how many LED's are in the dome light that you bought?....i just bought a blue dome light from autodynamic.com for 10 bucks...and it has 4 LED's....it's pretty damn bright...and blue, so since you want white, i'm sure it'll be even brighter, juss check out their site

I use raybrig blues in the doors and my dome light is either a hyperwhite Raybrig or B1. They light up very well and I do support the combination since it's been working for me since I bought the car. The hyperwhite lights up nearly as well as the stock too, but looks much cleaner.

and yes, $10 a bulb for the domelight and about $7.50 for each door. you get what you pay for.

I bought the Polarg dome light bulbs (2 bulbs for $15) January 2001, and its still going strong. They make good bulbs. I'm surpised the LED domelight you bought isn't bright, because LEDs are usually bright, but I guess thats when its dark. They are also directional, so they don't shine like a normal bulb. Maybe its defective?

cant go wrong with raybrig or polarg. i have a raybrig bulb for the dome, and polargs for the courtesy lights and some in the exterior. good stuff.
