Default Weird sound on 2003 EX V6 Sedan

I was wondering if anybody might know why I get a weird grinding sound coming out of one or both of the front wheel well areas the first time I make a turn after the car's been parked for a while. It happens pretty consistently, and it's only after the car has been sitting a while. I think it's more noticeable on right turns. The suspension, wheels, and tires are all completely stock.

Are you sure it's griding, suspension noise? It seems to me that it's just ABS self testing sound.

i dunno man.........my girlfriend's ex sedan never does that. Its the smoothest car ive ever driven. I think its dealer time for you. Take advantage of the warranty while u can. You paid big bucks for the car and deserve to be satisfied.

I don't think it's the ABS because I am not braking when it occurs, and I know what the ABS charging buzz sounds like. My previous car was a '93 Prelude VTEC, and remember always hearing it coming from the rear passenger side of the car when I first drove away. The grinding sound I'm talking about ONLY occurs the FIRST TIME I make a turn after it's been sitting a while, and It doesn't happen after that. I remember hearing from someone a while back that some tires do weird things after they've been sitting a while, like getting a stress spot that needs to be smoothed out by driving the car. Is it possible that I'm hearing that, or is that just total B.S. that has nothing to do with this? The amount of time the car sits before this happens is several hours, like overnight, or the 8-10 hours I'm working.

Have someone turn the steering wheel while you're outside of the car listening for the noise. It's probably the tire grinding against the ground

The dealer should have given you a little check list of stuff that might seem wierd but is normal for that car. They did that with my mom's cr-v. Check that list out, and if all else fails call the dealer. The checklist is actually pretty useful, now i know why my passenger side window rolls up slower than the drivers side  (yeah most of you probably knew that already so bah)

Did you ever find the problem for the noise? I have a 2003 Accord Coupe V6 and the exact same thing happens. Sounds like the engine is grinding for a second whenever I first turn the car after it has been parked overnight. I want to bring it in but I don't know how honda tech is going to figure it out if they can't replicate the noise since the car has to be parked for awhile.

Default I think it's the brakes self-test

I get a crunching sound when I first drive off, it's the ABS breaks.
