Default Replacing factory fog lights

i got a 2000 Accord EX Coupe with the Factory foglights and the left one blew out. I contacted honda, and they said that it's a sealed beam foglight, i would have replace the whole unit. WTF?
and they cost like 105.00. is there a way around this? anybody have a part number for it?

Yeh, look in your Manuel and it should tell you the bulb size... then just mess around with it and you should figure out how to replace it.

its probably not in the car's owner's manual, but it should be in the instructions that came with the fogs. u can dl them from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

its a standard H3 bulb...

Look at the light, and there are 3 screws that attach the light to the bracket... take them out and unplug the light... on the back side of the light there is a plate held on by 5 or 6 screws... take them out and the rear of the bulb will be visible. Take off the spring clip, unplug the bulb and its out... its very simple to do.

I really wonder about some of the people that honda hire... they dont know what the hell they are talking about half the time!
