Default ECU Fuse location.

Hello, i resetted my ecu a while back and i did that by just disconnecting the negative battery terminal. I was resetting it again today and i heard about pulling off the ecu fuse. I look at the fusebox under the hood and no fuse said "ECU" on it, but i found one that said "MAIN". Is the MAIN fuse the ecu fuse?? it had an amp reading of 50. Thanks.

look for the memory fuse, or radio back-up fuse... its usually that one. The main fuse is just the fuse for everything.

ecu is also the ecu fuse.
often when you pull the backup you lose your radio stations saved as well...

and ull probably need your radio code if you have a stock antitheft. the ecu fuse doesnt carry any current when the car is off. you just need to pull the backup fuse for a good 30sec-min. theres no need to pull the battery cables
