Default Advice on getting good 1/4 Times in a 5-spd

I was wondering how I could get the best traction to get a good 1/4 time. I have a 5-spd with minor bolt-ons...

I was hoping to run 15s, what should i rev up to and how should I let go of the clutch..

Any input would be appreciated

Lower the tire pressure in the front to about 25psi. I ususally rev around 2500 and drop the clutch on my launches. Just practice somewhere away from people to find your sweet spot on the revs. Good luck bro.

:werd: No way you'll break into 15s with intake, exhaust. 15s is SI range. Not possible. Do some engine work or spray while running and its a possibility.

Drive it like its stolen......

and hope the owner can repair it after it does hit 15s.

I doubt you are gonna hit 15s with pretty much a bone stock setup and definitley not with your interior in it. Gut the interior, upgrade the clutch and pressure plate, pray that the axles and tranny hold together as well as the engine with unknown miles on it.

an ex coupe 5sp with bolt-ons can hit 15s, it's all driver and track conditions.

i personally have a seen an 94-95 coupe with just I/E and stock wheels run a 16.3

i also heard through a friend of a friend that they ran a 15.7 in a 97 ex coupe 5sp with I/H/E and pulleys.
