yes you are right, if you just unbolt the thermostat housing, the hose will come off with it...i guess this is the easier routine.:thumbup:

 

btw dont forget the ground bolt under the housing...it is hard to see and most people forget about untill they try and pull it a part...it dont go anywhere

And dont drop the bolt like I did...damn was I pissed...took me the weekend to find a replacement...cause nothing was open
