Oy! enjoy this one.

I looked into it but damn its a lot of work (looked into a lot of things) and virtually undoable.

I am not going to sit here and explain it all but the best way to find out is to go to Honda and get diagrams of both the donor vehicle as well a the recipient vehicle. Check all measurements, mounting points, wiring harnesses, routing, steering units, control units, alignment possibilities......etc. (theres a lot) and then lets talk logistics.

Its a cool idea and it could be possible but unless you can do it yourself or got money to throw around (lots of it) it is beyond the scope of most people skilled or not. If you are expecting a shop to do it.......good luck most will laugh and hang up on you or tell you it can't be done.

WHY would you want to do this? Notice that the 4WS was never a big thing...because Honda realized wut a waste of time and engineering it was. And the repair costs would be astronomical...not to mention it'll be hella hard to find good mechanics for this.

Quit being so negative about something that isn't common.

I swear you guys talk about modding a vehicle then only do things that you can buy across a counter some custom

If he has the ability to do this the don't dissuade him from it. I was simply letting him know the research I could remember that I actually did when I too was looking into this idea.

Nothing good to say then say nothing please.

4WS was a letdown for honda, atleast in america. its not worht it, the only good thing is probably how you can get into tighter parking spaces much easier.

Why would you bother. Do you know how Rare a 4ws Lude is just finding one of those in great shape is tough, not alone the swap. If you have the cash for this type of hybrid--you would likely find more satifaction from fully building up the motor of the 4ws lude.
