Default Ups man just droped off my rims, Offset question?

Ups man just droped off my rims, I thought they were a +42mm but it was really a +45mm. The rims are 18x7.5, I have a 2001 Accord LX I am planing on droping the car first with H&R springs, but How low should I drop it, and what size tire would be the best fit with 18x7.5 with +45mm offset? Is there a chance I will rub What Should I do, and what are my choices

the tires you should look at are sized:

225/40/18

you shouldn't have any problem with rubbing w/o a drop but if you plan to drop go for 1.8" drop....with either H&R or eibach or neuspeed (whichever ride quality you prefer.....eibach being the softer ride of the bunch).

You could also go 215/40/18 for a tad bit cheaper but I'd rather suggest the 225/40/18 as they are slightly wider and the sidewalls are slightly higher too....also sometimes they're just a couple more dollars per tire more than the 215. Good luck with the drop and the tires and your rims look nice.

Which springs are better to use with stock shocks, I might get aftermarket shocks later on , I also heard you cant go reall low if you want to do that, is 1.8 inch drop to low?

45 is BETTER than 42 offset. So be glad.

And like said above, go 225/40. I have that exact same setup with H&R sports, no rubbing ever.

Someone told me that they would rub no matter the offset for that size. Is that true?

BS...refer to my previous post. I have 18x7.5, +45 offset, 225/40's, and 1.75R, 1.5F drop. Never rubbed.

I have uncorrected camber in the rear (not so bad I need a kit) so that kinda helps tuck the top of the rear tires into the fenders so they don't rub I think.
