After installing my Teins, the only part you use off your stock shocks is that "top hat." The thing thats on the top of the shocks that holds everything together. I also believe the Tein instructions said NOT to use the bump stop, but you can if you'd like. I just left mine off.

holy sh*t i cant believe those pics man. What did the shop say when you took it back.

the shop was run by a bunch of redneck assholes. The guy said he installed everything correct according to the directions...he used all the stock parts. I told him to take a look at it, and eventaully he fixed it. It was a ****ing joke...took them 7 HOURS to install , they did it wrong, and only one guy was working on it. I brought it back and asked them to fix it...after they fixed it (took them two days...and i went back to make sure they were working on it) I gave them my words. They should get their **** together, it shouldn't have been a 7 hour job, and 2 days to fix it. NEver going there again

Iiight ya'll. Peep the freakin day I had. Went to the spot this morning and told this cat that I wanted it an inch higher thinking that would eliminate the problem. My wife and I head over to the dinner and had some grub and the car was ready. I go inside to talk to him cuz the car looked a lot higher than what I had asked for, but I didn't beef cuz my son was acting up in the car (I know! I should have said something.) I leave and the car is better and I'm able to go over bumps, but I could still hear that noise a lil sumthin, so when I got home I tried to peep the coilovers but it was too much work and it was brick outside. So I called him and his beefin with me cuz I should have stayed there and told him something, I was like word. Alright, cool. I put my wheel on and was about to head over there and take my deposit back on my stage three CM clutch and flywheel, then he calls me back and is like one guy cancelled so bring it in at 4:30. I head over there and they work on it and it was worse. He told me to let it break in and to come back in a week. I called him AGAIN and said yo, it is BAD! He told me to come back again. So I was like freak it! I went back again! He takes a look at it and I'm waiting and I told him to bring it down 3 quarters more! I test drive the car and yo, TEIN is the ISH! I was starting to get pissed at em, but these are sick. The ride and everything was smooth, but on the turns, OMG!!! I'm setting up my website and stuff so ya cats can peep it. Thx for all the suggestions, I was feelin the wisdom from all the fellas today. Good lookin out and be safe!

Wow, those are bad experiences with shops. I don't believe in shops, or tuner shops. Its all DIY and buying online and eBay for me. I did my front Tein install in 2 hours, and the back in 2 hours. Pretty straight forward. BTW, the instructions are in JAPANESE! So you gotta rely on the pictures. Pretty easy. Sorry for the trouble the shops gave you guys. Glad everyones happy. Teins rock!

Take out both shocks and springs.

For the SS model...don't buy it for that much money, you can find it $850-$900.

OMG!!! They forgot the stock pillow mounts!

If you want to go lower, I recommend upgrading the Tein springs. I got upgraded Tein springs because I was bottoming out like a mofo on a 2.5inch front drop. So I decided to do the 9kgf upgrades to the front. Here is pic for all those interested in how they look like...looks pretty much the same:

Review: Had the springs on since Friday...waiting for them to settle. I just lowered my coils ALL the way down and I'm only at a 2.3 inch in the front...so I'm hoping it will settle so I could atleast go back to a 2.5.
