Default MY NEW RIMS What Brand Tires Should I get

I will be getting my rims in this tuesday, I just want to ask the board what they think, pics are below will I lose out if I go with 215/40/18 OR should I go for the 225 series please give me you thoughts.

The dude that sold me the rims had the non Polished verson here
they are I Like the Polished in my opinon thats why I got them

There's no harm in 225, you'll have more contact patch. The only downsides might be a wee bit more noise and a little more rolling resistance. Big deal.

They just look big and polished...like they belong on an S class or something.

I'm sure they'll look fine though...post some pics when you get them on.

I went with a bit wider tires on my civic and it was fine. The only thing is that the tires do rub on the fender if it bottoms all the way out. I haven't had this happen since I had the suspension replaced. Also, you need to alway hang onto the stearing wheel with the tires, cuz they like to go where ever the road wants them to. Not bad on highway, but in town they are annoying.
