Default HELP...Koni Yellow Perch Question!!!

I have a 95 Accord with Koni Yellows and Eibach Prokits. Now, I have a question if people could help me out...in the FRONT shocks...should the perch disc (the round cup looking metal thing that the spring sits on) be cone up or cone down? Basically, should the SPRING sit lower than where the disc is attached to the shock...or should where the disc is attached to the shock be attached be lower than where the spring sits? PLEASE HELP! I think I have them on wrong!

they should "cone up". the spring should fit in the "lip". on the "cone" there will be a "profile" for the spring to follow

Okay, that makes sense...so the spring should sit LOWER than the perch? (Just making sure...because if you flip the perch disc over, the profile is still there)

the spring should sit a little bit lower than the perch. the top should be flat(somewhat flat) and all the excess metal on the perch should be on the bottom

does this cone up/cone down thing apply for all struts that use the same type of perches as the Koni's? My bilsteins have that dilema for the rear. Should those springs sit at a level below the perch ring, or above the perch ring?
