Default Black Housing Headlight Question

im buying a set of Blakc Housing headlights for my 2001 accord sedan, however ive noticed that there is two different "looks" to the ones that i have seen:

corner appears black:

corners appear chrome:

i like the first ones with the black corners but i am conserned about light output of my turn signal. will it make a difference or am i safe with the black corner lights?
thanks

It's just how much the housing is painted. The top has almost all the housing painted, the bottom just has the edges. Do it yourself, it's fun (easy too) and you'll save $150.

Im with teh moderator. I just did mine last week and it came out absoloutely perfect, and mine looks different from both of those pictures above. Its good because you can paint whatever parts you wanna paint. I strongly suggest you do it yourself. Its very easy and fun and you save yourself 150 dollars.

if thats a xmas present, take something else that costs 150 dollars. It would be a better idea.
