Default 94 Accord door locks problem

My 94 Accord EX coupe has been having a problem with door locks recently. Whenever I lock the doors (from inside with the knobs or outside with the key), I hear this constant click-click-click noise as if the the doors cannot be locked at the first try and they're being locked again and again. These clicks continue for 10-20-30 times (it's totally random) and then stop, after which the doors are locked. It doesn't matter which door I lock first. It also happens when I start the car when the doors get locked automatically. The locking noise coming from the driver's side door is much louder than the passenger's side.

The locks were working perfectly fine two week ago. Then I had to park the car for a week since I was going out of town. Last week, when I turned it on, the locks started to act strange. This winter was the first when the door locks froze and I could not turn the key in the lock to open the doors. I think water somehow went into the door panel (or the locks) and froze there. I had to forcefully rotate the key and put a lot of torque on the key to open the door. However, it was working fine without any of these clicks until very recently. Can it be related to that?

I'd appreciate any ideas/comments/help...

It seems that all 5th gen Accords have problems with the door locks.3 out of 4 of mine are bad and buzz very loudly when I lock the doors with my remote or the switch inside the car.

Simply put, your door lock actuators are bad and need to be replaced.

The clicking could be coming from the relay on the door lock control PCB, which is mounted on the drivers door near the front, about midway between the speaker and the mirror. I'm currently going through my door lock system piece by piece because it had become intermittent in operation. I haven't found the source of the problem yet. Might be in that PCB, or it might be in the wiring, perhaps at the door hinge area where it gets flexed with door movements.

Yeah 94honda is right. The clicking is electronic problem and I had this issue on my 96 accord, and it got fixed when I install an alarm system. Now I need a new lock actuator for the rear, I can hear the lock actuator spinning when I locked that door grrrr.

the spinning noise is because a rubber stopper bushing inside of the actuator breaks so the gear can travel too far and makes that noise all you need to do is take it appart and replace the bushing with a peice on vacuun hose and it will work fine!
