Default Need Opinion: 94 Accord hit right before Selling it

Need your guys opinions. So I have a 1994 Accord EX that has 180,000 miles and I was planning on selling it in a month. Figured I'd get $2500 to $3000 but not sure. It is in amazing condition never been in a wreck or had a problem.....except for a rip in the leather of the drivers seat in the stitching and for some reason the mph needle doesn't light up at night. Kinda pricey things to fix considering leather and I'd have to open the dash up.

So a week ago a lady backs into the drivers side and I get a $1,600 check from her insurance to fix it. Only the door is damaged but it's bad enought to need to be replaced. What would you guys do in my position? Get it fixed or keep the check and try to sell / part it out? What are my options if I go with the latter? Can I sell car with door / leather / needle damage?

Up next is a Lexus IS 250/350....

Get a door at a wrecker and paint it to match if necessary (do the prep yourself and it will probably cost you less than $100 at Maaco or where ever).

lol hell ya he's right on the money keep the check, fix the door cheap like he said, and then collect on the car. You see it as a problem. I see it as you getting $1600 for free. LOL

how hard would it be to take a door off and re-attach a new one? Is wiring involved or will it unplug?
