Default Arm Rest - 6th Gen

The arm rest in my 6th gen coupe is really starting to piss me off. Does anyone have any good ideas for lowering it a couple inches? I'm getting really sick of slamming my elbow into it every time I shift to 2nd.

i gotta agree.......the armrest on my 02 coupe is quite tall. When i rest my elbow, my shoulder is forced to be raised up a bit. That makes shifting a little bit uncomfortable and because of that, i used to shift with my elbow down from the armrest, but then ppl told me i look really retarded like that........so i kept up with the tall armrest. However, im all used to it now and i feel 100% comfortable.

At least I'm not the only one. I've only had the car for about a month, so maybe I'll just give it more time to get used to.
