My 2003' Honda Accord EX-V6 Coupe (graphite pearl)...

a 72yr old motorist rear-ended my 1 1/2 month old 03' Accord. Car is still in the shop being repaired. I've filed a claim against the ol'man insurance car for diminished value compensation (drop in cars retail value after being involved in a car accident etc.) and also decided to trade the car in for a Nighthawk Black Pearl 03' Accord EX-V6 Coupe. I've already ordered a set of gun-metal Advan Kreuzers Series 5 rims (18s) and just received the tires (225/40 series Yoko AVS ES100s). Will order a set of H&R Race springs whenever those guys restock their supplies.

BTW, if you look at the right-side rear-end tire and notice the rim/tire inclines into the fender well. The cars alignment may or may not be able to be fixed properly. The 72yr old man really did some damage behind the bumper. The entire exhaust system is crushed, suspension (sway bar, right-hand arms) are bent and need to be replaced, and some other nasty stuff as well.

Why me... I miss my car and my feelings are hurt. Oh wells, hopefully the Insurance Company will go my way since they are claiming 100% full liability.

What is a 72 year old doing behind a car? The maximum age should be 65 to drive.:fawk:

Sorry about the car.

F23A4_AcCoRdude,

Yeah I already have a set of Advan Kreuzers on my 00' Honda Prelude as well. I'm with you, it's one of the best looking rims available! I ordered a set from www.wheeloptions.com (Discount Tires Center of El Monte, California) for $2190.00 not including cost of tires. I've already got the tires from Discount Tires here in Washington State for $609.00 (Yokohama AVS ES100s 225/40 series).

I'll be trading in the damage car as soon as I get it back for a new one. I'm looking at getting the Accord in black this time.

Unfortunately the overcast day doesn't bring out the richness of this color...

Damn, seems like graphite pearl is the most popular choice for the new 7th. Gen. Accord. Very nice color but it does shine its best when the weather is clear and the sun is out. Really nice metallic gray blue but if the weather is cloudy and overcast the car looks more midnight blue/purple.

Default size of alloys?

Hey guys, i'm new to the forum and getting an LX-G Accord in March and was wondering what's the minimum size for Alloys on the 2003 accord, is 15 enough? also do i need winter tires or are the factory ones good enough for snow traction? To save some cash I was thinking of getting 15" alloys and putting the factory tires on them and getting snow tires for the steel rims. Is this a good idea? as far as i'm concerned I'm not worried about the performance of the factory tires, I don't race or anything. So anyways thanks and let me know what's best
