I have a 91 accord 4 dr and was wondering if the taillights are interchangeable with the 92-93. I was thinking of getting the half red half clear aftermarket taillights but wanting the red part to be at the top, and therefore those are the 92-93 taillights. Let me know, thanks.

 

The only way to get 92-93 tail-lights on a 90-91 is to do a trunk swap. By taking the trunk lid of a 92-93 and replacing it with the 90-91 you will then be able to do the tail lights. but for now you'll have to stick with amber/white on top and red on bottom.

 

I, personally, think the 90-91 tails look better... especially with the red/clears!! I like how they went all the way to the plate in the middle...

 

Yeah I was contemplating for a bit there. Either taillights will do, they both look good. I guess I'll just mine as well stick with what I have then. Thanks guys.

 

this same technique goes for the '98-2K & '01-02 models, the outside lites fit fine but it's the lites on the trunk that don't fit.

 

ive seen 90-91's with 92-93 outer tails, and the stock tails in the middle... how ghetto is that.
