Default What size for 18's on a 2001 Accord LX

I'm new to the board and wanted to ask for you help.
I just got 18's for my accord and want to know what the board thought on what size to get. I will lower my ride maybe 1.5 inchs so thats whats making me think. I don't want to get tires that are to big so when I lower my rid it might rub, my friend tells me to go with
215/40R18 what will fit the best? Oh the rims are 18x7.5, Your help would make my day. thanks

Andy

225/40 is best. That's what I have. That will be closest to your stock diameter if you have I4.

I'd bet that's the most common size tire for 18's on 6th gen Accords (98-02)

And Welcome to the board.

Thanks. I4=Inline 4 Cylinder. Mine is an LX as well. I have no rubbing. I'm dropped 1.75 Front, and 1.5 Rear. My wheels are 18x7.5 +45 offset

225/40s are about the best size. If you want to go with a thinner tire, but harsher ride, you can get a 35 series, but its up to you.

My drop is 1.8" in the front and 1.7" in the rear riding on 18x7.5 +42 offset. What is your wheel offset?
