I just painted my headlight housings and am going to be putting them back together shortly.
Previously my headlights were cleared and had the orange strip removed. Although it's illegal I've never had any problem as a result of this. But I'm considering putting the reflector back in, just in case, and so that I don't ever have to open my headlights up again if/when I finally have a problem from police about it.
My question is, what do you think I should do?
Stay with option #1.? Which hasn't resulted in a problem yet.
Go with Option #2. To be legal and yet get rid of some of that orange.
Option #3. Legal and not sloppy looking (complete strip), but a lot of ugly orange. Although it does look more OEM

What's up Jason......(accordv6O2 from av6.com---what happened to the site?) I like the look of the lights blacked out with the orange reflector in, I saw the pictures of a guys car that did that and I thought it looked pretty original. I'd go that route, it'll set your car apart (as if it isn't already
) from the crowd, everybody has regular old blackhousings anymore, I think leaving the strip in and blacking it out gives it more of an OEM look.
