Default Washer Jet Replacement. How do I do it?

Long story short: Front end damage, replaced hood, wasn't able to get stock washer jets right away so I had a temp. replacement.

I finally got around to buying the body coloured washer jets along with some kind of black plastic washer piece for each jet. I was looking for some kind of instructions for installing the jets. Anyone have experience with them or know how they're supposed to be put in?

A picture of your stock washer jets sitting on the hood would be gratefully appreciated.

pull the hose off the old ones... then there are 2 "clips" on the inside of the hood... they just have to be pressed in and the washer pops out... If you have new ones, you should be able to see the "clips" im talking about...

I got around to doing the change today. Very easy, thanks SumAccordGuy94. I couldn't get the hoses on at first, but dipping them in a mug of hot water softened them up enough to squeeze them on. They look and work great, but I notice that when used they leave a little trail of fluid on the hood (between the jets and windshield). I don't remember if the originals did that, can anyone tell me? If they don't, I'm guessing I don't have enough fluid pressure to the jets. Can anything be done to increase the pressure?

Mkae sure that the washer fluid is not running low, that might increase pressure. Also you might have to adjust the squirters. There are two little holes on each one, and you can stick a pin or paper clip in teh holes to move around the squirters.

On my 2002 Accord, the windshield wiper fluid nozzles spray out in a "spread" as opposed to the original "2-stream" shot. (for lack of better words) I was wondering if it would be possible to buy these nozzles and replace them on other cars. (my mom's camry, friends dodge neon, etc...) Anyone try this before? tnx

00accordv6 - thanks. I'll do that next time I drive.

pringle - You can get them at your dealership. The body coloured ones were $30 CND (probably $20 USD) each, the plain black would be cheaper I think. I'm quite sure the part is fairly universal on cars and would fit without much trouble on other cars. You might want to look into this though.

Before getting the stock ones back on, I had the 2 streams. Horrible experiencing those after getting used to the spread.

PmPiNAzNBoI - I paid less than that per jet in Canadian dollars. Go to another dealer.
