Wiring diagrams
I am installing a Crimestopper keyless entry system in my 95 EX. Does anyone have or know where I can find a wiring diagram for this car so I know which wires to tap into? Thanks
your name is 96vtec... but you have a 95? or is it a misprint?? For Keyless Entry, there are no real differences in wire color/location between the 95 and 96.
-Constant Positive can be found at the white wire in the Ignition Switch Harness... or there is a power connector on the interior fuse box, above all the fuses there is a row of recessed connectors... the last one, closest to the firewall should be the constant positive, verify this with a test light.
-Dome Light, a black wire with a white stripe, to the RIGHT of the steering collum, you'll see a harness with a grey connector... probably tucked up in the dash a little. This wire needs a Negative (-) feed to activate the dome light.
-Parking Lights, Red wire with a black stripe... to the LEFT of the steering collum, in a harness with the blue connector, should be the larger of the 2 with 18 wires or so.
-Unlock, Orange wire
-Lock, Black with white stripe... both wires are located in a 2 pin plug, located above the fuse box... it is taped to a large harness with blue tape... you really have to get under there and look to find it, its pretty far up... fairly close to the firewall.
I hope this helps... if you need more info for other wires, for adding more accessories or options, let me know.

Thank you, that is exactly what i needed. The system also has a horn output and a starter kill. If you could possibly let me know which wires those are I think I will have them all and can get started on the install. Thanks again
BTW, yes the 95 was a typo

-Horn, blue with red stripe... to the right of the steering collum... this wire will need a NEGATIVE trigger, and a relay to power it, unless the keyless module has a horn relay built in.
-Starter, Black with white stripe... this is in the Ignition Switch Harness, as with the constant positive wire... you'll need a relay to "break" the wire when the system is active... so the car will not start.
