Hey-

I just bought a new-to-me '06 Accord Coupe 2.4 w/ 5 speed manual. Love it so far, except for one complaint: there is no room to shift with that giant console storage bin in the way! My elbow hits it, and it's so high up that I have to reach around it to shift!

Has anyone removed this in favor of a smaller storage bin or something?

 

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone complaining about the armrest... No problems for me (6 ft tall) nor my wife (5' 3")....:shrug:

 

I guess I'm getting used to the armrest, but it does get in my way when shifting. I have to use the top of the shift knob, instead of the middle. I guess it's so easy to shift, using my fingertips works where it wouldn't in most other cars.

Maybe I have freakish long arms? :yay:
