Default Ignition System and New Spark Plugs?

Hi, Do you guys think I'll get a difference in hp if I got an ignition system and denso or a similar brand spark plugs? I have a little extra money and am looking into doing it. If not, what else is similar in price and has a decent hp gain. Thanks.

Nick

Since you may have platinum plugs you could switch to ngk coppers or denso iridiums and may gain something. The ignition is fine.

Just do it. You'll gain some mpg and hp. Right now I'm working at a full ignition system. Box, wires, coil, wires. All I need now is the blaster coil and new wires and I'm set.

I tried helping you the first time, but you wanted more info so instead of getting spoon fed info the search would help you learn and form your own opinion on what you should do.
Do a specific search for denso plugs and msd ignitions and you should find alot. Also check out some other boards. Like I said before, I think you got ngk platinums stock for plugs, so a switch to coppers or iridiums should be better. Your stock ignition is fine if all plan on is bolt-ons.:slap:

I just wanted insight from people who actually have the mods, and why does it matter if I want more than one reply to a thread? :fawk:

Right now here's how much I spent on my ignition system.
MSD 6A = $90
NGK Iridium IX = $22
I just need a MSD Blaster Coil for about $25-30 and NGK Wires for around $50 and I'm set.
