Default wood dash kits

I have to admit that I like a wood dash when it is done right. Do those aftermarket kits look good - or do they look like cheezy MAC-TAC?
Does anyone have pics?

Some of the wood kits are done very nicely, especially the ones that are real wood...Joshua Wood sells one for the 5th gen I think. Try their website. Personally, I don't like wood on anything outside of OEM on a BMW, Lexus, or MB.

I have a CF kit on my other vehicle from Joshua (www.woodtrim.com) and their kits have the best quality that I have seen. They also have awesome customer service and willing to help you with anything you need. Here is a sample from their site: http://www.woodtrim.com/catalog_detail.cfm?prod=1878

I have one of the fake dash kits and I've been pretty happy with it. Doesn't look quite as nice as the real deal but wasn't anywhere near as expensive, and the color matches OEM really well if you have a 6th gen EX. http://www.autodash.com/ they also sell real wood dash kits too, but be prepared to pay out of your nose.

That looks pretty rich! One thing I am concerned about is the edges of the trim; is there a noticeable 'stuck on' appearance?

What would you guys think of a brushed aluminum kit in a black/grey 5Gen interior? Nice or rice?

Another thing, did the 5th Gen EX have OEM wood trim as an option? Or was that just the SE, or what? I swear my Dad's 96 had it, but he also had a 94 Buick Regal at some point, so I don't know.
