As I've said, I've never used one myself, I'm just aware that they exist. Just from looking at it, I'd say it's a piece of cake to actually install. Just get accessory power to it, plug your antenna into it, and it into your head unit. I would mount it somewhere out of the way, like under the dash or something where you can't see it. Also, I've never taken my dash off, or know how to get to the back of your head unit, so you and your manual are on your own.

it looks really easy. the red is your power source and you could easily patch that into your fuse box. the black wire goes into your radio's antenna socket, then your car's antenna wire HAS to plug into the antenna booster somehow.
