Default I made a mistake, and need help...

Hello all,
98 Accord V6

I successfully installed a heater core, and was finishing up when I decided to take a look at my thermostat. I pulled it, but when reinstalling it, I broke off a bolt (the lower one) in the thermostat housing (not the cover).

The bolt is truly cross-threaded in there good, and I can't seem to find any way to either remove the entire housing (don't know what it's called) or get that bolt out...

Any ideas from the wise?

John

Did you cross thread the bolt or did you over torque it? You may be able to use a screw extractor to remove the remaining bolt...you can buy one at Sears.
