got this off speedoptions

Injen's CAI system utilizes a high performance dyno-proven system made of CNC mandrel bent 6061 T-6 aluminum alloy. Each intake is carefully engineered for a perfect fit and superior performance with optimum throttle response. "



Maximum Peak HP: 208.2.1HP Gain : +14.4 HP
Maximum Peak Torque: 180.2ft-lb Gain: +11.2ft-lb
Maximum HP Gain vs. Stock: +14.9 HP at 6600 rpm
Maximum Torque gain vs Stock: +11.8 ft-lb at 6600 rpm

I saw that at av6 and I think someone over there already has one but they have not installed it yet.

Very impressive gains. Wow. So this car is getting about 270HP with just premium fuel and a CAI...that's incredible.

My Injen Cold Air Intake will be here on Friday!
I will post track results on saturday (hopefully it wont rain).

Did anyone notice on the dyno sheet that the stock intake was tested at 11:00 a.m. (a hotter part of the day) and the Injen intake was tested around 6:00 p.m. , a much cooler part of the day (colder air equals denser air and more oxygen). The temperatre change alone is bound to increase horsepower.
What do you think the power gained from the CAI unit versus the replacement of the filter element alone would be?

iono the temp at 11 and 6 in cali feels the same...not that much of a difference...and the temple or Vtec did a stock dyno of the 2003 v6 accord and it was just about the same hp...194.
