I have a 98 accord coupe EX, i have the factory cd player, and for some reason ive always had problems with playing burned cds, and before i used older memorex brand and it worked and newere ones didnt and now i got maxell and i burned a cd, doesnt seem to work it loads and loads forever. Maybe the internals of the 98 are different from the 02 model, but I just buy whatever, I've never had a problem with my player reading a burnt CD, and I actually usually just buy the cheapest ones they have.

get an indash mp3 player...audio cd's are old school now...waste of time and space if u ask me....i currently use a portable mp3 player with my oem stereo/cassette deck in my 96 accord.....NO complaints!! You can put 8 times as much music on one mp3 cd than u can put on an old format audio cd.

the 98 decks were made by panasonic... the 2002 version, with the 6 disc changer was made by pioneer. So the "guts" are different...

i haven't seen a double din mp3 player out there yet

i have one of these in my 6th gen ...

it's awesome. i dl mp3's all the time and now that i have a compatable HU, i could take full advantage of my collection. i will never need a cd changer too. i had alot of time on my hands and converted 1/2 of my mp3's to .wma ... and omg, i fit 45 albums on 1 cd. the sound quality is all there too.

i'm installing my delphi xm radio tomorrow, i'll keep everyone posted on how it goes. i've been jamming to xm all week in the house and it's great.
