Default Burnouts

Umm I dont want to sound like an idiot here with this stupid question but I need some schooling on the subject of peelouts. LOL. I know all the basics but I didnt really do it on my car since the time I got it. I did it on many other cars but no on my manual. All I do on mine is just peelout wen I take off thats it. When you burn out on one spot u use hand break right? And wen i do 180 I just feel that im doin someting wrong but i cant figure out what ( go like 30-40 turn ur steering wheel left and than all the way to the right and pull the hand break). Any other tricks, tips? Like I said before I dont do these things usualy to my car but I still wana know how to do it so dont make fun of me plz.

peel outs = more money on tires and messed up suspension. I like watching it but i wouldn't do it. All I do is hold down the clutch, let my rpms hit 5000 and let go of the clutch.
