Looks great man. The body side molding on my 1999 Accord isn't painted, it was the same matte black color as yours. But my car is black, so there's no need to paint it.

I laugh at light colored LX's with ugly black strips.

i want to do it on my fifth gen but they didnt have any duplicolor champaine/gold.....

 

just a little FYI next time you can take the door panel off the inside and reach in and pop the molding off and then paint it and reinstall it without breaking the clips. its beter then masking it all off and chancing overspray.

You coulddo them inmetallic brown, maybe "cappucino" or something. It might look cool...or it might look super-fugly.
